FULL MOON Team

 

We are a group of volunteers that voluntarily organize events for charitable purposes. These events are in collaboration with the Center "Apostle Paulos" for people with mental retardation in Liopetri which will allocate the net proceeds. As in the last 3 years and this year we want to organize for the fourth consecutive year the Full Moon Beach Party (Charity Beach Party) on July 12, 2014 in Poseidon Beach in Ayia Thekla. In previous years, our effort was crowned with success as we gave at the Center "Apostle Paul" in 3 years the total sum of € 15000.

 

The Center "Apostolos  Paulos" serves as the Day Center  hosting  people with mental retardation and other attendant problems, over 18 years from all over Famagusta . The purpose of the Centre is the healthy employment of individuals, the development of personal, social and professional skills, avoiding any form of social isolation or institutionalization, care and safety and generally offer better quality of life for people with disabilities.

 

Despite all the government grants provided is not enough to ensure a decent livelihood and employment Food Centre, as required by current trends and concepts and as submitted by Cyprus legislation and international regulations and proclamations. Although many efforts are made ​​common assumption that the programs of our Center have a glaring monotony and need enrichment,  reconstruction, modernization programs and reconstruction of buildings and who they date back to 1989 was the Centre. To meet the needs of the Centre any financial support is remarkable and markers.
